Originally a Hall House, built in the late 16th century The Old House has been updated with new technologies such as fireplaces in the early sixteenth, a second storey in the later sixteenth and electricity and central heating in the mid twentieth century, displaying a wealth of original oak beams and two most magnificent local sandstone inglenook fireplaces.
There are four golf courses within five miles, two country clubs and three gymnasiums together with the Severn Valley Railway, Ironbridge Gorge and the beautiful countryside of Shropshire.
